Chunkbase: A Minecraft Biome and Structure Finder

Overview

Chunkbase is a collection of biome and structure finders. When you get on the site, there is a bar at the top. It has the pages. The Home page shows news. The Apps page is where you get to the actual biome finders. The Mods page has a list of mods, and the Tuts (tutorials) page shows tutorials on different builds. I like to use the biome and structure finder to locate the best places on my worlds.

Biome and Structure Locating

To locate places on your world, first go to Apps. There are many apps there. I use the seed map app, because it is all of the apps combined. Once you do that, first select your version of Minecraft. For example, Bedrock 1.19, or Java 1.19. Then, you'll want to type in the seed of your world. If you don't know what a seed is, it's a code that generates your world.

Scroll down to see the map. Select the arrow I circled in red to see all structures you can locate. If the structure icon is grey, (look for a green circle) that structure is not turned on, so click it to be able to locate it.

Zoom in and out to see all structures that are turned on. When you hover over an area, it will tell you the biome and the coordinates at the bottom of the biome finder. Click on a structure to tell what it is and the coordinates.

Scroll down, and you will see a dropdown box that you can choose the height level. At the top of the screen, you can choose your dimension. Double-click anywhere on the map to set a marker. I use these to mark my house or a point of interest.

Conclusion

This biome finder is great for discovering new places and biomes to explore. You can get to it here. Subscribe to the site and stay tuned for game updates, new games, and game news.
