Sadly, all things have to come to an end. Even great games. In this finale, we cover all aspects of the Echoing Void DLC. The Echoing Void only consists of two levels. There is no secret level. This is by far, the hardest DLC. With an amazing boss fight, and the best cut scenes EVER.
Before you do anything, notice that a few of the levels (8) have Eyes of Ender marking them when you open the map. Also notice the Stronghold in the bottom right corner. In order to unlock the End Portal and activate it, you need to play the levels with Eyes of Ender. Each of these levels, at some point, will have a side passage that you never saw before. Make sure to explore everywhere on these levels, as you never know where the Eye of Ender is. Once you have found the new side passage, go in it. At the end of the tunnel is a very ominous room with what looks like, liquid Ender. This strange liquid will slowly make you Void Touched, being Void Touched will apply a rising damage multiplier, slowly killing you. When you enter the room, a very tall Enderman-like creature with what looks like a villager nose for a head will spawn. Kill it, and it will drop the Eye of Ender. Now, you must complete the level to keep the Eye.
Once you have all 8, play the Stronghold level. The Stronghold isn't necessarily long, but there are a lot of mobs. At the center of the level is the End Portal. Place the Eyes of Ender, and you will be transported to the first End level, the End Wilds.
On the starting island on the End Wilds is a secret. The secret is in the upper left corner. There is a green slimy block and when you go near, a chest will appear. The green slimy block will bounce you.
When you leave the starting island, you will be greeted by an angry horde of Watchlings. Watchlings are short Endermen with eyes everywhere. As you will see with the next few islands, you will need to roll over lots of gaps. As you get to the other islands, you will run into Snarelings. Snarelings are Endermen with a green mouth where their stomach should be. From that, they shoot barf that entangles you. (Ewww!) They will then proceed to flail their arms around and kill you. You will also find Blastlings. Blastlings are, by far, the ugliest mob in the End. Blastlings are Endermen with big, purple arms. From those arms, they shoot purple, umm, plasma? I don't quite know what it is.
As you progress through the level, you will see more of that liquid Ender stuff. Void Touched is also an enchantment for melee weapons.
Eventually, you will be at the End City. You may run into a shulker and a closed door. To open it, you will need to get the shulker to fire a projectile. Let the projectile follow you, but not hit you, and go by the door. The shulker projectile will be attracted to the door opener thingy, and open the door. Near the end of the city, you will be at the End Warship. There you will find an Elytra. Don't worry, the Elytra won't disappear for your friends.
When you roll with an Elytra, you glide instead. You will also see a firework barrel. Click it to boost your Elytra and follow the purple trail in the sky to where you should go.
Once you complete this level, start Broken Citadel. When you start it, you will keep your Elytra. The boss fight is awesome. Comment below how many tries it took to defeat the Vengeful Heart of Ender.
It's not all over. Minecraft Dungeons creators say that there's going to be a new story line sometime
