Farming in Minecraft is essential. Farming gives you food. Farming can also be used to trade with villagers. Check out our review called Minecraft: Villager Trading.
Crop Farming: Farming is somewhat simple. Here are some tips before you start.
Water hydrates farmland up to 4 blocks
Place water in the center
Flowing water will hydrate
To start your farm, dig a hole. Fill that hole with water. Use a hoe and turn all blocks 4 blocks out from the water into farmland. Place a fence with a torch on to above the water for light. Place torches along the outsides of the farm. You'll want to make 4 of these. One for every crop.
To make a melon and pumpkin farm, dig a line 2 blocks out from the other farm. Fill it with water. Hoe the ground on the sides of the water. Plant the pumpkins and melons. They will grow on the dirt on the outside.
Animal Farming: Animal farming is very simple. Just make animal pens with fences and get animals. Breed the animals until you cannot see the ground or you start lagging. Murder them and eat them (I'm not crazy!!!).
That's about it for farming, so check out our other Minecraft reviews and subscribe to the site!
