Have you ever been mining for hours and couldn't find any diamonds? Well, here are a few tips to mine better.
- Make a chamber 3 blocks tall and very wide and long. Next, make a tunnel about 300 blocks every 3rd block on every wall. That way, there are two blocks between every tunnel and you will see any diamonds in between.
- Use torches sparingly, as coal is somewhat hard to find
- The bigger the cave, the more ores it has. Always mine in caves as you find them.
- If you find lava, turn it into obsidian with a water bucket.
- Trade with tool smiths to get diamond pickaxes and shovels to mine with.
- Use redstone to mark your way back if you find a cave or other structure such as a mineshaft or stronghold.
These are a few tips to make finding diamonds (and other ores) easier. Stay tuned for other tips and tricks!
