Minecraft Mining Tips for Noobs and Beginners

Have you ever been mining for hours and couldn't find any diamonds? Well, here are a few tips to mine better.

1. Make a chamber 3 blocks tall and very wide and long. Next, make a tunnel about 300 blocks every 3rd block on every wall. That way, there are two blocks between every tunnel and you will see any diamonds in between.

2. Use torches sparingly, as coal is somewhat hard to find

3. The bigger the cave, the more ores it has. Always mine in caves as you find them.

4. If you find lava, turn it into obsidian with a water bucket.

5. Trade with tool smiths to get diamond pickaxes and shovels to mine with.

6. Use redstone to mark your way back if you find a cave or other structure such as a mineshaft or stronghold.
