Stratego is a game similar to chess, but you have solders. The higher the soldier's rank is the fewer of them there are. You don't know what the opponent's pieces are until you attack. When you attack, if your piece is higher rank than the other pieces you win with a few exceptions. Exception 1: if you attack a bomb both the bomb and the piece die unless it is an 8. If you attack the spy with any piece, you win that battle but if the spy attacks you no matter what piece it is they die unless it is a bomb.
