Scrabble is one of those classic games, and I'm assuming that most of you reading this know how to play. But for those who don't, I made this review.
How to Play
If you know what Words with Friends is, Scrabble is basically a board game version of that.
To set up the game, you will place the board on a flat surface and give everyone 7 letters. Someone then needs to play a word using those 7 letters. The word must have a letter on the center of the board. Then, after they play the word, they should grab more letters so they once again have 7.
For example, Bob plays the word 'Trees.' Since that word used 5 letters, Bob would take 5 more letters, and be back up at 7 letters. Next, Billy plays the word 'Flier.' Flier must be connected to 'Trees.' But it has to make a word where it's touching, so Billy can't put the 'F' connected to the 'T,' because 'FT' is not a word. After Billy plays, he would get 5 more letters, so he would have 7 again.
Scoring
Scoring in Scrabble is pretty simple. The numbers in the corner of every letter tile show its value. You just count up the numbers and you get your score. If you land on a Triple Word tile, or any of those, just do what it says. For example, you play the word 'Grass,' and the 'G' is on a Triple Word tile, multiply the value of the word by three.
