Rooftop Snipers is a game by Two Player games in which you are a sniper, well, more like a hitman, but you're supposed to be a sniper. The game is in a side view format, with no HUD, and the controls are really simple. To shoot you hold E. Your arm will start going up, and when you stop pressing E, you will shoot. You can jump by pressing W. This will make your character get launched a few feet in the direction the top of it's head. This means that if you are hit by something, you start rocking back and forth, and if you are tilting forward when you press W, you will go forward. However, if you are tilting backwards and you press W, you will go backwards. Another thing to keep in mind is that if you are shot in midair, you will get thrown back a whole lot more than you would have been if you were on the ground.
The goal of the game is to get your opponent off the platform. You can do this by shooting your opponent. There is no health in the game, so you can't kill your opponent, but you can push them off with the knockback effect that happens when you shoot your opponent. Keep in mind that the knockback effect is significantly increased when you are in the air and get shot.
The art style is similar to that of getaway shootout, another fun game. There are changing platforms, too, such as the airship, the elevator, the house, and the apartment building. These have different aspects to them that change the game. For example, the house has a spike in the middle that blocks bullets. The elevator is fun because when the elevator is on the platform, it's like a normal map. But when it is down, there is a hole that you can fall through where the elevator was! The apartment building is the standard building, and the airship is the widest of the 4 maps. There are also different maps below the platforms. For example, on the apartment building if you get knocked off of the left side of the building, there is a sign that says "presidential elections" although it changes! If you get knocked far enough, there is a hot dog stand that has a sign saying, "Wow! So Far!" It's this extra bit of information that makes this game so much better.
There are a few different guns as well. The strong sniper is the strongest weapon, and might knock you off in one hit. The second strongest gun is the RPG, which is easy to dodge although if it hits you has serious knockback effects. There are also tomahawks (throwing axes), which are perfect for the house map, since you can throw it up, and it will fall back down on the other side of the spike, knocking off your opponent without ever leaving the safety of cover. The other weapons include wands, batman's gun, pistol, and revolver. These weapons don't change the standard knockback effects, but they sure do look cool!
Some other things that can change are the weather. Sometimes, it rains, leading to slippery surfaces, and the knockback affect is increased. Also, some things fall from the sky, like civilians, beach balls, and other stuff. These can push you around like crazy, especially if it's raining.
Some fun things in this game is the ability to play single player and multiplayer. Multiplayer simply adds I key to jump and O key to shoot for the character on the right. This feature adds a lot of fun and adds a lot of time before the game gets boring.
Also, the music to this game is awesome! (it's the same music that's in the rest of the Two Player games)
